How we Grow

We grow our dahlias using organic, regenerative and sustainable practices, with a strong emphasis on no-till farming and nurturing healthy, living soil.

This means:

• Minimal digging or disturbing the soil structure

• Building fertility naturally with compost and organic matter

• Encouraging biodiversity above and below ground

• Working with nature, not against it​

Healthy soil grows resilient plants, and resilient plants grow better flowers — richer in colour, stronger in stem, and full of life.

Step into our field and you’ll be surrounded by over 1,500 dahlia plants across more than 150 varieties, each one grown with care and patience. From soft, romantic blooms to bold, joyful colours, every stem tells the story of the season, the soil, and the hands that tend it.

We’re also experimenting with dahlia breeding, so while you wander the rows, you might spot brand-new stunners — unique blooms you won’t find anywhere else. It’s a little peek into the future of flowers, right here in North Norfolk.

For those who love to get hands-on, we have a 40ft-long border overflowing with annuals and foliage, perfect for creating your very own wild, textural bouquet. Mix, match, and take home a personal arrangement bursting with colour, scent, and character.
