When are you open?
We open on the 2nd August on Saturdays and Sundays. Our opening days and times are seasonal and weather dependent. Please check our website or social media for current availability and booking details.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, tickets must be booked in advance to help us manage numbers and protect the flowers. Some walk-ins may be permitted if the time slot allows.
How much does it cost?
Tickets are charged at £5 for a 2 hour slot. Children under 10 are free. You then pay for the flowers that you cut. Dahlias are charged at £2 a stem.
Are children allowed?
Yes! Children are very welcome. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult, especially when cutting flowers.
Can children cut flowers?
Yes, as long as they are supervised by an adult at all times.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes — dogs are welcome on leads and any mess must be collected by their humans.
Where can I park?
Parking spaces are provided right next to the dahlia field along the fence.
What should I bring?
Yourself and a smile! We provide buckets, water and snips to use while cutting.
We sell buckets and pots to transport your beautiful blooms home, but the super-organised amongst you can of course bring your own bucket.
Do you provide snips?
Yes, we provide snips for you to use for flower cutting.
Are your flowers organic?
We grow using organic, regenerative and sustainable methods, with an emphasis on no-till practices and soil health. We don’t use chemicals or pesticides.
Can I visit just to look, without cutting flowers?
Yes — entry tickets are per person and allow you to enjoy the dahlia field whether or not you plan to cut flowers.
Do you offer photoshoots?
Yes! The dahlia field is available for photoshoots from early morning through to sunset slots. Please contact us to discuss availability.
Do you have animals on the farm?
Yes — we have a waddle of runner ducks who live in and around the dahlia field. They help naturally control slugs and are a valued part of our growing system. Please be mindful of them and their home during your visit.
What facilities are available?
A portaloo is available in the field. Further toilets are available on the campsite.
A coffee van is available in the field when we are open to visitors.
We have a small shop and reception area selling flower food, merchandise and other flower related goodies. The campsite also has a small farm shop selling farm produce.
Do you sell Dahlia plants or tubers?
We have a small number of potted dahlias available for sale as well as pre-cut bunches and other fabulous flower-related goodies.
Are you open to collaborations with local businesses?
