Day 7....Candling!! With an iPhone torch 😂. So pleased to say we 'think' all eggs are showing signs of 'life' with clear veins visbable! The children did an excellent job of keeping a tally! We will do this again on Day 14.......... #wilddahliaco #ducklingeggs #pyodahlia #flowerfarm #farminglife

✨ Duckling Hatching Countdown Begins! ✨

In 28 days’ time, we’re hoping to welcome a bundle of tiny, fluffy ducklings 🐣 - they will be part of our slug control measures!

Right now, their journey starts quietly inside the incubator — warm, carefully turned, and closely watched. Over the next few weeks we’ll be candling the eggs (so you can see those magical little wiggles ✨), counting down to the first tiny pip, and waiting for that moment when a shell finally cracks open.

From hatch day drama to wobbly first steps, cosy brooder life, and those very first splashes… we’ll be sharing it all.
